Save more with shared committed use discounts by default
Google Cloud changed the default scope for resource-based Committed Use Discounts from project to billing account for most new and many existing billing accounts. That means CUDs can now be shared across projects more easily.

Sharing discounts across projects can improve coverage and lower effective cost in multi-project organizations.
