Build More Flexible Governance Without Fighting Policy Limits
AWS Organizations increased Service Control Policy quotas, raising attachments per node from 5 to 10 and expanding maximum SCP size from 5,120 to 10,240 characters. That gives organizations more room to write detailed policies.
For FinOps and platform teams, this can make cost controls and access restrictions easier to express at scale. It also reduces the need for awkward workarounds when governance rules get more complex across large organizations.
AWS Savings for AI and Migrations Get a Big Boost
Amazon SageMaker HyperPod now lets you capture inference data for production endpoints, which can make it easier to monitor model behavior and spot drift before it turns into wasted compute. It records inference request and response payloads to S3, and the captured data can support configurable sampling, encryption, and integration with Model Monitor and existing evaluation workflows.
Lock In GPU Capacity Without Paying More Than You Need To
SageMaker Studio now supports GPU capacity reservation through Flexible Training Plans, giving teams a way to reserve capacity with predictable pricing. AWS says these plans can deliver up to 65% savings versus On-Demand, and the reservations plug into Studio apps so instances can be provisioned automatically.
Keep CDN Costs More Predictable
CloudFront Premium flat-rate plans now have configurable usage allowances, with self-service monthly tiers ranging from 500 million to 6 billion requests and 50 to 600 TB. Customers can choose a flat allowance that better matches their traffic profile and avoid overage billing.
Get More Value from Security Tooling on One Bill
AWS Security Hub Extended added 21 curated partner solutions with unified billing, and the pricing is published as pay-as-you-go on a single AWS bill. AWS also says it includes automatic EDP eligibility and unified support.
Make Secret Retrieval Work Better at Scale
AWS Secrets Manager Agent can now pre-fetch and cache secrets lists at startup, which helps reduce startup latency for applications. It also supports assuming IAM roles to retrieve secrets across accounts.
Keep Migration Artifacts Under Your Own Control
AWS Transform now supports customer-owned artifact stores, letting organizations use their own S3 buckets for transformation artifacts. Those buckets can also be encrypted with customer KMS keys.
Automate More of the Migration Workflow
AWS Transform’s new agent builder toolkit is now available, allowing partners and customers to build, share, and register custom transformation agents. The toolkit is available in the Kiro marketplace.
