Track and optimize agents more easily in Microsoft Foundry

Microsoft Foundry added GPT-5.6, hosted agents, tracing, agent optimization, and ROI tracking. The update includes GA hosted agents, tracing and evaluation for agent observability, an agent optimizer, and an ROI feature that compares agent value with operating cost.

This is one of the most directly FinOps-relevant announcements in the Azure set. It ties together model choice, observability, and cost/value measurement, which is exactly what teams need when they’re running production agents.
